The 2022 edition of the Défi Sollio is launched!

After a one-year break, followed by a virtual edition, we are pleased to kick off the 2022 Défi Sollio, which will be held in collaboration with Uniag Cooperative! For this in-person edition, which marks the 100th anniversary of Sollio Cooperative Group, we invite participants and their families to join us on August 20 in the magnificent Montérégie region for a unique sporting and charitable experience. Participants can register now. They can also choose between cycling, running and walking, and then raise funds to be donated to local charities.

"I have participated in several Défi Sollio in the past and it is always with great pleasure and excitement that I see the participants cross the finish line. They take on the challenge not only for themselves, but also for the community. It is a great pride to witness their success and to be able to hold such an event of mutual aid and solidarity. As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the cooperative, it is even more significant for us," explains Pascal Houle, CEO of Sollio Cooperative Group. The Défi Sollio (formerly known as Défi Vélo La Coop) usually takes place in a different region each time it is held, in partnership with a local cooperative. Uniag Cooperative, which hosts and is a partner of this year’s Défi Sollio, has selected three organizations for which all funds raised will be used to help the people they support: Centraide Est de l’Ontario, Le Phare Enfants et Familles, and Sourire sans fin. "Our members are pleased that their cooperative is associated with this event, which will have a significant impact for the mutual aid organizations that are close to our hearts. At the same time, participants will have the chance to discover our territory, which is full of beautiful locations, such as Ormstown," says Jean-Sébastien Leblanc, General Manager of Uniag Coop. This is an event not to be missed. Register now
